Jumping at its best

The Linaro-Cantus son Licanto is distinguished by a high measure of quality both with regard to his own performance and to his siring qualities. In 2004 he passed his 70-day-test with distinctly above average scores. The outside rider awarded the practically ideal score of 9.5 for the test in the jumping arena.

After first successes in jumping horse tests Licanto will therefore focus his efforts on sports in 2005. But he will still be available to the breeders (who like him for his first-class offspring) who can be provided with frozen semen.
His foals are all brilliant with regard to type and display a smooth action. In 2003 his was the only colt bred with an emphasis on jumping in the finals of the LVM Foal Championships at Lienen. In 2004 a high proportion of his offspring was premium awarded on foal shows.

The secret of his first class siring qualities lies in the excellent composition of his pedigree. His sire Linaro was champion in the stallion approval test and in stallion performance tests, and several times participant in Federal Championships. His dam’s sire Cantus is regarded as the essence of jumping talent and can proudly refer to offspring highly successful also in international arenas.

Licanto was bred in three times to Cor de la Bryère and Ladykiller xx, and thus shows a sound genetic consolidation.
