Absolutely brilliant type – a look-alike of his sire.
With his grace and beauty Sarkozy won over the hearts of the crowd every time he entered the ring during his stallion approvals. With outstanding impulsion and a maximum degree of freedom in the shoulder – he redefines the meaning of “ground covering”. An athlete for the elite dressage sport: top qualities and a modern conformation. In an incredible way Sarkozy combines two of the world’s most famous producers: Sandro Hit and Weltmeyer, both serial-producers of champions. Sandro Hit’s achievements as a sire can only be described as phenomenal comparative to his still rather young age – yet again producing two stunning winners of the national championships and two licensing champions in Verden and Vechta. Weltmeyer can look back on an entire armada of national champions, licensing champions and international top-class horses such as the Olympic horses Weltall/Martin Schaudt and Wie Weltmeyer/Emma Hindle, the surprise of the World Equestrian Games in Aachen: Vincent/Bernadette Pujals, as well as Weltino/Ellen Schnulten-Baumer and the bronze medalist of the prestigious Nurnberger Burgpokal, Weltmeyer Junior/Matthias Rath. In the third generation the state owned stallion Bogenschutze adds the valuable Bolero, who produced numerous elite horses such as Olympic and WEG participant Brentina/Debby McDonald, world championship participant Barclay/Cart Cuypers and more recently the fascinating national champion Benetton Dream. Sarkozy – plenty of potential for a leading role in breeding and sport.
