2005 Vice World Champion of five year old dressage horses
Nobility and performance in a masterly combination!
Thanks to that legendary "Absatz look" he received from this dam's sire's side, Donnerball is undoubtedly one of the most pronounced type Donnerhall sons in active breeding – a fact that was emphasized by his persuasive first crop and rewarded with the Ic Main Premium in 2004. The high esteem Donnerball enjoys as a young, extra class dressage sire was impressively confirmed year for year as the 2003 Oldenburg State Champion in Rastede, the celebrated 2004 Vice Bundeschampion of 4 year old stallions in Warendorf and as the sensational 2005 Vice World Champion of five year old dressage horses in
Verden.
He already shows an outstanding talent for piaffe and passage! While Donnerhall is already a legend in German riding horse breeding, Alabaster's reputation is still growing. He proved his own riding horse qualities at the 1994 Bundeschampionat for dressage horses. Among his offspring, Alassio and particularly Apache OLD with Isabell Werth at Grand Prix level, were the most successful. Licensed sons include Ad Hoc (State Stud Warendorf) and Albanos (private stallion in Rhineland). Alabaster's dam line has been upgraded most recently with the winner of the 2005 Hanoverian approval in Verden, a grandson of the Alabaster dam,
Waleska. |
