2005 Bundeschampion This patent leather shiny, black gem caused a sensation at the Spring Elite Auction 2005 in Vechta when he became the top priced horse (240,000 Euro). "A top stallion for the future" was Uwe Heckmann's prophecy – and he proved to be right: In the fall of 2005, he became the celebrated Bundeschampion of three year old stallions in Warendorf! Here he received dream scores for his canter and rideability: an 8.5 for his trot, a 10.0 (!) for his canter, a 9.0 for his walk, a 9.0 for conformation, a 9.5 for total impression, a 10.0 (!) from the first outside rider and a 9.5 from the second outside rider. The sire, Donnerschwee, was a premium stallion and a price record breaking auction horse before becoming successful in dressage all the way up to Grand Prix.
Among his few first offspring, D-Day was a top priced premium stallion, State Premium Weissera, a State Champion Mare and advanced level dressage horse, and Don Rubin was also a premium stallion who won many first places up to medium level. With the highly esteemed and versatile sire, Sion (also known for Sterntaler Unicef/A.-K. Linsenhoff, a gold medalist at the European Championships) and Figaro (known for Figaro's Boy/Ludger Beerbaum) in his pedigree, Duino has been breed for rideability and willingness to perform to a high degree. Skywalker, a licensed stallion and successful medium level dressage horse, is a full brother of the dam. Further high class dressage horses and jumpers are also closely related to this line, including the multiple prize winning DLG mare, Angela. |
