As a four year old Coleur Rouge was awarded the title "Oldenburg County Champion" of the show jumping division. He further was granted "premium" status at his licensing and came top of the list of jumping stallions. Blessed with a model character and great light-footedness, his jumping manner is ideal and to top it off he has huge scope. The similarities are undeniable – he is a full brother to Coleur Rubin and brother to Conterno Grande (Marco Kutscher) and nephew to Franke Sloothak's famous former ride Glo Granno. His sire Cardalme Z was regarded as one of the most prolific international show jumpers of his time. Coleur Rouge's first foals have inherited his graceful movements and stunning looks.
