A noble stallion proved at championships

Numerous first places in tests for young riding horses, including the 2004 Hanoverian Championships in Verden as well as bronze twice in 2004 and 2005 at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf are convincing recommendations for this strong typed, large lined young dressage stallion. This assessment is clearly underlined by the top scores he received for his gaits (trot 9.0/canter 9.5/walk 9.0) and rideability (2 x 9.0 outside rider test) at the 2004 Bundeschampionat as well as at his outstanding 30 day test in 2004 in Schlieckau where he finished with the highest scores for gaits and rideability (9.5 in the outside rider test!). As a son of the champion stallion and star sire, De Niro, who is in a class of his own in sport as the 2003 Dressage Derby winner, Desparados already enjoys great attention by breeders.

And all the more so since his dam's sire, Wolkenstein II, who is deemed one of the most significant Weltmeyer sons, won his performance test in Celle, was a 1993 Bundeschampion and has also sired champion stallions and Bundeschampions. Other valuable genes in this combination come from the Anglo-Arabian, Matcho, known for passing on rideability, and the legendary trademark stallion, Pik König, in the following generations. A full sister of the dam, Wie Platine, took third place at the 2001 Bundeschampionat. This line is also known for the licensed stallion, Rocko Barocko, as well as the dressage horses, Mister Bean and Welfenkönig as well as the international advanced level jumper, Mill Creek Rosalinde (E. Lamaze/CDN).
