Here
you have the World Champion of five year old dressage horses. Dimaggio is a
modern Hanoverian in the noble chestnut color blessed with three outstanding
basic paces. His sire, Don Primero, was the 1990 Bundeschampion of German
dressage horses and highly successful in international Grand Prix. The dam's
sire, World Cup I, won his stallion performance test, became the DLG
Reserve Champion Stallion twice, was Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 1997
and produced numerous well-known dressage horses such as Watussi, What
Joy, Willi the Kid, Walamo, Water World and Vino Veritas. Through
the wiry half Thoroughbreds, Lindberg (by Der Löwe xx) and Emir in the
following generations, the line ends in the Dannenberg breeding region. Two
of Dimaggio's half-brothers and sisters won at the 2003 Bundeschampionat - Dynamico
in the class for five year old dressage horses and Devils Bride in
the class for three year old riding horses. Also Cherie, the 2001
World Champion of six year old dressage horses and hands down winner of the
2003 Nürnberg Burgpokal confirm Dimaggio's dressage pedigree par
excellence. Dimaggio passed his performance test in 1999 in Neustadt/Dosse
with a score of 133.39 (2nd place) with a 10.0 for rideability before he was
highly placed at the Bundeschampionat. He then made his way to England where
he immediately became Champion of young horses. In 2000 in Arnheim
(NL) he became World Champion of five year old dressage horses. In 2002
and 2003 Dimaggio won and placed in various tests up to Intermediare
I. During his breeding time in England, Dimaggio presented the 2003
British Warmblood Champion and the British Sport Horse Champion.
