This fine jet black stallion delivered a convincing performance at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden, demonstrating outstanding quality in all three of his paces. He has all the ingredients for a successful career in dressage and he satisfies all the criteria to be a breeding stallion, including outstanding character and temperament. It’s his pedigree that gives Der Designer his dynamic movement. Sire, De Niro, is extremely successful up to Grand Prix level and has sired 77 horses which compete at advanced level dressage. Over 60 sons have been approved and he has also produced some successful mares such as Edina and Bundeschampions such as Daily Pleasure. Weltmeyer has sired numerous top horses, eleven Bundeschampions, the Olympic gold medal icon Weltall and World Cup winner Warum Nicht. The pedigree is rounded off by Bolero, producer of countless top horses such as Vice World Champion Beauvalais/Beatriz Ferrer-Salat. Der Designer is full brother to Danone I and II and his dam also produced the St. Georges dressage mare Donnermeyer. The dam’s line has produced premium stallions such as Dejaveu and What a Feeling, plus Grand Prix horse Baltic/Jonny Hilberath and Romeo Montague.
