Dynamic Carthago son with an interesting thoroughbred connection.  Harmonious model out of the excellent Holsteiner dam lineage 242.  Successful horses such as Rosella ridden by Lutz Gossing, the German Young Horse Champion Coster and the stallion Liostro are all direct decendants of the dam lineage.  The dam’s sire Lavall I, a son of the legendary Landgraf I, out of a Sacramento Song xx dam, is continuing to come more to the fore.  Sire Carthago Z, popular around the world, is currently third on the German federation’s top list of all dressage breeding stallions in Germany.  Caitano was very impressive at the German Young Horse Championships and also as a finalist at the Young Horse World Championships in Lanaken.  He jumps with a fantastic elastic technique and a powerful hind-quarter motion.  His first foals from Holstein are impressive modern types with a light-footed movement.
